Rat Pack & Casino Charity Fundraiser Night at The Manor Arms
A Glamorous Night of Rat Pack Music, Cocktails and Casino, in aid of Great Ormond Street at The Manor Arms
South London’s finest pub is hosting a lavish Rat Pack and Casino night to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity on Saturday 27th October from 7pm. The event will be set to the sounds of international Jazz singer Tom Rust who will be crooning the audience with some Rat Pack classics.
The evening will start with a cocktail reception and some of Chef Matt Pepperell’s delicious canapés. There will also be a Rat Pack-inspired menu available for those looking for something more substantial.
The Manor Arms will also have a casino on the night, where guests can expect Blackjack and Roulette tables attended to by glamorous croupiers. All the proceedings from the casino will be donated to the charity, with great prizes donated by the local community.
Singer and musician, Tom Rust, has been performing to audiences since he was 16. He now boasts 4 albums and a string of international concerts, including performing for VIP’s at the Beijing Olympics and playing a private concert for the Sultan of Brunei.
Harking back to the days of 60’s glamour, the event will not only be a chance to dust off your dancing shoes and revel in a flutter or two, but most importantly to help raise much needed funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital. The hospital is very excited about the event and has commented:
“We are delighted that The Manor Arms has chosen to hold this event in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity needs to raise over £50 million each year to make sure the hospital remains the world-class pioneering institution it is today. Support from fundraising events like this helps them to buy vital equipment, fund pioneering research and most importantly rebuild and refurbish some of their hospital site. This redevelopment will allow them to replace the outdated wards with brand new facilities where parents can sleep alongside their child and will mean that children have more space in which to get well.”
Tickets cost £15 in advance and will include 2 free drinks on arrival and canapés. Tables can be booked for a sit down dinner and there will be ample bar space for those who do not wish to dine.
