Donating to Food Banks in Streatham
Lambeth Council has set up distribution points in its main buildings to support food banks. Food banks are often the last point of call os you can be assued that just a little bit of help from you will make a hue difference to someone else.
They provide three days’ worth of food to people facing a crisis and unable to buy enough food for them or their family. Food banks are mostly run by local volunteers and the produce they give out is donated.
By donating the right foods you are helping to keep your local food bank going. Trussell Trust, who run the majority of food banks in the UK, have placed food bisn in all of Lambeth’s council buildings so you can easily drop off a few items any time of the day:
